Techs pace Wall Street decline
Recession fears hammered stocks again Thursday afternoon, the third straight down day on Wall Street, with the technology-fueled Nasdaq leading the decline. The Dow Jones industrial average lost over 170 points, or 2%, with under 2 hours left in the session. The Standard & Poor's 500 index lost 2.9% and the Nasdaq composite lost 3.7%.
